• CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Today's whale watching tour from Reykjavík is on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

Report from Eldey: We sailed out in good conditions and not to strong winds. As we came around the corner of the island Viðey, we spotted 2 blows in the distance and then 2 flukes. We found 2 Humpback whales ! As we came closer and take a proper look at them, we saw that they were the same 2 humpbacks that were hanging out in the area for quite some weeks now. Radar and Banana. We spent some time with them, they let us admire their beautiful flukes and how majestic they move through the waters of Faxafloi Bay. Then we made a little detour, to see if we could find something else, but it was only Radar and Banana in the area. So we headed back to them, to say our fair wells and then had to go back to the harbor. What a beautiful encounter with these 2. :)
