CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: Today we had a grey day at sea. The wind was blowing, it was raining from the start to the end of the tour, the visibility was not the best. We started zooming around the islands first, due to our last sightings locations! The visibility was not helping, but we've never lost hope. While we were searching for cetaceans, we did see 2 harbour seals bobbing at the surface close to the boat. All of a sudden, we spot 2 blows in the distance and... jackpot! There were 2 humpback whales swimming side by side. This pair that we know quite well are called Banana and Radar and we enjoyed them coming even very close to our vessel on the back! Totally worth the wait! They were diving for almost exact 4 minutes and then coming back up to the surface, greeting us with good sightings! Unfortunately, as we saw them later in the tour, we needed to start heading back to the harbour. Still, we got to see them very well and take some pictures! A great wet and surprising tour!
