CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: Today was the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, and we spent it whale watching! We headed out of the harbour under grey skies and started our daily search around the islands. We started around Lundey where the whales had been yesterday but soon heard from another whale watching boat that they were much closer to home! We headed back towards Engey and found our resident pair of humpback whales - Banana and Radar. They were still feeding so were moving around and keeping us on our toes. Radar would give us wonderful fluke dives but Banana was a little more shy today. After spending some time with them, we unfortunately had to go back to the harbour with the sunset.
