CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey & Hafsúlan: Today was a wet and grey day at sea, with a little bit of swell too it made a real adventure. With quite a few different whale watching boats out today, we all split up to search a wider area. For a while, no one spotted anything. On Eldey, we had quick glimpses of 3 different pods of 3 harbour porpoises each. They all came quite close to the boat but didn't stick around for long. We started to make our journey back to the harbour, when we heard on the radio that someone had finally spotted our resident pair of humpback whales! We headed there immediately and were treated to some up close encounters with Banana and Radar. Unfortunately, after our lengthy search, we then had to sail back to the harbour - wet but happy!
