CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan and Eldey: 2026 started with a great tour. Slight wind from the south east, a clear sky and sun. Just a few minutes outside of the harbor we spotted 2 humpback whales. We spend some time with them and the showed nice fluke dives close to our boat. One even decided to breach once and so some of us got lucky to see this amazing behavior. We then went out onto the calm bay and found 2 grey seals and a small pod of 3 harbor porpoises. On our way back we had another good look at one of the humpback whales that now was traveling close to the shore line. A wonderful first day of the new year!
