CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We went out with beautiful weather, the sky was drenched in pastel colors and the sea was flat. We went close to the Hvalfjörður and then spotted a harbor seal. It was taking a few breathes and then diving down after each breath, showing us it's whole body. Very unusual, but very sweet. After that we heard over the radio that there is a humpback whale close by, so we went there and had a very nice encounter. It was showing us it's fluke so many times. But also it was traveling quite a lot, on the fish finder were lots of fish in the deeper water, so we think it was hunting for food. But all good things must come to an end, so we had to head back to the harbor - with happy guests and happy crew. :)
