Today's whale watching tour from Reykjavík is on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

Report from Eldey: What a great day! The weather was as good as it can be. Clear sky, sunny, just a slight breeze, 2°C and the sea as flat as a duckpond. Just a few minutes after we left the harbor we spotted the first animal. To our surprise it was a single common dolphin. We spend some time with him and he got really close to our boat what gave us the opportunity for some great pictures. We went on and found our two humpback whales, Banana and friend, just around the isle of Viðey, were they were busy searching for food. As we got closer also a grey seal and a harbor seal peeked out of the water right next to the whales. They also were here for their meals and with all the activity in the area it seemed to be a good spot for them. After a relaxed cruise around the islands we passed the whales on our way back to the harbor and said our good bye for the day.
