  • CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00, 13:00

Today's Whale Watching tours from Reykjavík are on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We headed out this morning under bright skies, with a light breeze and beautifully calm seas. Not long after leaving the harbour, two blows appeared on the horizon. As we drew closer, we watched two humpback whales dive, lifting their flukes above the surface. We spent some time observing these gentle giants before continuing our search around the bay. During our journey, we were lucky to spot a single common dolphin, which surfaced multiple times near the boat before continuing on its way. As time was running out we started our return to the harbour.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: This afternoon we sailed under sunny skies, a slight breeze and with calm seas! Perfect conditions! Since we left the harbour it didn't take long before we spotted two blows in the distance. As we got closer we saw the two flukes as the humpback whales dove underwater! They were moving gently showing their fluke multiple times before disappearing once again. We stayed with this whales for about half an hour before we decided to continue our search in the bay. As we didn't find anything else we started our way back to the harbour but we still had time for a small stop to see one of the whales once more! Another great day!
