Today's whale watching tour at 09:00 from Reykjavík is confirmed!

However, Due to unfavorable weather conditions in the afternoon, we have decided to cancel our whale watching tour today at 13:00!

Report from Eldey: Today we were facing a true February day in the bay! We had strong winds, choppy seas and swell coming! We travelled around the islands first, passed by Lundey islet, where it was the area the whales were yesterday, and around Viðey. On the way, Mount Esja was mysterious, looking cool behind the mountains! We could also see many seabirds, big flocks of great cormorants. We couldn't go too far out because of the sea conditions. We covered many areas, however we couldn't find whales today. So, after a long time, we decided to give out complimentary tickets so the passengers can come back for free again and try their luck next time.

common loon, Northern fulmar, black guillemot, razorbill, great black-backed gull, lesser black-backed gull, glaucous gull, black-legged kittiwake, herring gull,  eider duck, great cormorant
