We sailed out tonight full of hope, with mixed weather conditions and some cloud. We hoped to see some gaps in the cloud with the wind, but unfortunately the forecast wasn‘t as expected and we wrapped up warm with hot chocolate, patiently waiting. In the end, we were unlucky so we gave complimentary tickets to our guests to try again another day.

We set out from the harbour, eager to see what was in store for us. There were some clouds but gaps did appear and we saw very faint lights through them. We waited patiently to see if they would get stronger, but before long we had to head back and so we gave our guests complimentary tickets to try again another evening.

We set out this evening full of hope and glad to be back out on the sea after a few days of bad weather. We headed towards Esja where we saw some gaps in the cloud form, and started to see more stars. Despite waiting patiently with hot chocolate and blankets, the auroras did not appear this time so we handed out complimentary tickets for our guests to try their luck another night.

We headed out with a cold northerly wind in search for the Northern Lights. We found sheltered waters below mount esja and warmed up in our blankets with hot chocolate. We started to head home when the northern lights appeared - beautiful curtains of green above the mountains. Nature always keeps things interesting!

Clear skies and the stars were shimmering; we set out for our evening cruise. Before long, an arch appeared and the northern lights dazzled above us. They did not stop throughout the evening, with explosions of purple and green at points. A special evening on the bay.
