Right when we left the dock, we started to see northern lights between the clouds. Half way through the tour, we had to head back and change boats, but when we got back out there we were rewarded with spectacular auroras in very vibrant colours.
Today we enjoyed sightings of minke whales, harbour porpoises and several humpback whales, including a relaxed pair resting side by side. Calm conditions and patient searching rewarded us with close encounters and even a lunge-feeding minke whale close to the harbour. A wonderful day at sea with diverse sightings and memorable moments.

With a forecasted Kp index of 4/9, our hopes were very high. We saw the beautiful Imagine Peace Tower, Harpa Concert Hall and Hallgrímskirkja church, but unfortunately the auroras were a no-show, so we of course issued complimentary tickets.
The wildlife was a bit elusive this morning so we issued complimentary tickets to our passengers. Tonight we enjoyed the beautiful city lights and the Imagine Peace Tower before we headed further out. Unfortunately the clouds didn't allow us good views, so we decided to issue complimentary tickets to all our passengers, for a second try.
With strong winds and noticeable swell, we searched the waters around the islands and into the scenic Hvalfjörður. Although the views were beautiful, no whales were sighted today, and all our guests were issued complimentary tickets to return for another chance to meet the wildlife of Faxaflói. We sailed out in calm seas with some gaps in the clouds. The forecast was promising, but despite our patience, we only caught a glimpse of the northern lights. Eventually we returned to the harbour and provided complimentary tickets to all our guests.
We sailed out from the harbour and decided to stay close to the coast due to the wind. We saw many birds, rainbows, and even the first snow of the season on the mountains nearby. We didn't managed to see any whales or dolphins today, so complimentary tickets were issued to all guests. The rest of today's tours were cancelled due to worsening weather.

Tonight, we sailed behind Viðey island to protect us from the wind and waited as the sky started to open up. Unfortunately, the auroras were not cooperating this evening, so we issued complimentary tickets, for our guests to join us again!
