In the morning, we navigated large waves before spotting a playful pod of 6-7 white-beaked dolphins, 3 quick minke whales and two familiar humpback whales, Davy Jones II and Neila, feeding together! In the afternoon, we again found humpback whales Davy Jones II and Neila, calmly surfacing and even passing gracefully under our boat at times!

This morning, we saw a minke whale, some harbour porpoises, a pod of white-beaked dolphins with a small calf, and four humpback whales! This afternoon’s tour also saw a pod of 5-6 harbour porpoises, a friendly minke whale with a nearby pod of 5 white-beaked dolphins, and 4 curious humpback whales. A true "Royal Flush" of marine life!

The morning tour was cancelled due to weather, but we were able to sail in the afternoon and encountered 3-7 harbour porpoises, followed by a bottling grey seal! Later we found a pod of 4 white-beaked dolphins that vanished, but reappeared with Flak the humpback whale, and individual we usually see close to Reykjavik in winter!

We set off this morning excited to find wildlife. At one point we were surrounded by what felt like 100s of black legged kittiwakes and sooty shearwaters. We found two solo white-beaked dolphins and a minke whale! Sailing out again this afternoon, we found 6 minke whales and a small pod of 8 harbour porpoises around the islands near Reykjavik.

Preview ImageImagePreview textThis morning we encountered a humpback whale, as well as a minke whale only 10 minutes from the harbour. We spent most of the tour with the friendly humpback that then decided to breach right in front of us! In the afternoon we quickly, we found our friendly humpback whale, and several pods of harbour porpoises, with around 15 individuals.

We set sails on our morning tour and were soon surprised by a quick moving minke whale. Moving further, we encountered an elusive humpback whale and 8 harbour porpoises. Finally, a second minke whale appeared, much friendlier and even treating us to two lunge-feeds. The afternoon tour was cancelled due to weather.

We sailed towards Hafnarfjörður this morning and were thrilled to find 4 humpback whales. In the afternoon, we sailed from Hafnarfjörður, quickly encountering 4 resting humpbacks. We later saw 4 pods of harbour porpoises and 2 minke whales and a surprise humpback among them, topped off with an unexpected breach close to Reykjavík!

Despite cancelling our Premium tours due to weather, we were able to go on the Classic tours today. In the morning, we encountered a minke whale before spotting a familiar humpback whale. The afternoon brought challenging conditions, but we persevered and found another minke whale followed by a large humpback whale near Hafnarfjörður!

Although morning tours were all cancelled, we were finally able to sail out in the afternoon after a couple of rough days. Just five minutes after departure, we spotted a minke whale! Another while later, we spotted a humpback whale! We waited patiently until it returned to the surface for a few dives before diving down and showing its fluke!

In the morning, we encountered a close minke whale and later spent time with a feeding humpback whale that treated us to a beautiful fluke dive. The afternoon found 2 pods of racing harbour porpoises, a minke whale and at between 3-9 of humpback whales (including Neila and Pep), showcasing pectoral and peduncle slaps!

In the morning, we encountered a swift minke whale followed by a trio of playful humpback whales swimming in harmony close to the boat. Later, under sunshine and snowy mountains, we found four humpbacks surfacing calmly, with two coming so close that guests got splashed by their blow! The day ended with warm drinks and incredible memories.

Today's morning tour encountered playful pods of 12 white-beaked dolphins, a couple of minke whales, and a solo harbour porpoise. The afternoon brought 3 close minke whales and 3 pods of white-beaked dolphins, finishing with 2 more minke whales surfacing in front of us. A fantastic day despite the cold winds and some rain!

The morning tour spent over 30 minutes with a humpback whale trio. We later encountered 8 playful white-beaked dolphins, jumping and swimming alongside the boat. The afternoon tour also brought us 3 humpbacks, including Pep and Neila, with some tail slapping action, and a pod of 6 curiously bowriding white-beaked dolphins!

This morning we spotted a pair of minke whales and soon after a humpback whale swam up to our boat. As we continued, 2 more minke whales passed us and we were delighted to see another 2 humpback whales, soon joined by a third, while another minke whale surfaced in the distance! Rest of the day was cancelled due to weather.
