Tour at 17:00

Although the weather was still quite rough we were lucky enough to spot two Minke whales. The first one we saw quite well, but just a quick look at the second one. We stopped by the puffin island on the way back to the harbour. Our passengers were very happy with a very successful tour, despite the rough sea!

Unfortunately we were not as lucky this time. We were able to smell the breath of the Minke whale after the captain had slowed down the boat, when he thought he spotted something. But this was as close as we got, the whale didn't surface near us again. The weather was quite rough today.

We spotted a fin from a distance, so moved the boat closer to the area where the fin was spotted. One of our passengers soon spotted a Minke whale! It was great to observe the Minke whale, as we haven't been seeing as much of them as we usually do. We ended the trip with a stop at the Puffin Island, where there were quite a lot of puffins.
