CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: The tour started in an Icelandic style: cold and snowy. The waves did not stop us from wanting to meet some cetaceans in person. After 20 minutes of searching, a blow was seen at the distance. After going to inspect what it was, we were left with the mystery. Shortly after a group of white-beaked dolphins crossed our path. They were 10 very friendly individuals who even approached very close to the ship and made human watchin, they were very curious. After spending a long time enjoying their presence, we decided to continue on our way and suddenly a huge splash was seen. As we got closer we could observe a beautiful humpback whale. Exclamations of astonishment were heard from our tourists. It surfaced showing us its body, its back fin and its tail. An awesome day to enjoy in the Faxaflói Bay.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: The afternoon showed good visibility and a spectacular sun. Shortly after leaving the harbour we crossed our paths with 5 adorable harbour porpoises. They were probably traveling because they were swimming at a certain speed. Shortly after we approached an area full of seabirds that were fishing. We went to survey the area and quickly saw a group of 8-10 white-beaked dolphins. They were swimming fast, fishing, jumping, it was amazing to see them in full action! We continued on our way and after searching and searching we finally had the honor of being graced with the presence of a majestic species, a humpback whale! But, there wasn't one, there were two! After taking some pictures and enjoying those moments, we returned to port with a smile on our faces.
