Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 1PM Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

COVID-19: Keep in mind that passengers and crew are asked to ensure their own hygiene and safety at all times. Washing hands thoroughly with soap and using a hand sanitiser is advised. Masks are mandatory in areas where keeping 1 meter distance from others is not possible. 

Report from Eldey : It was a beautiful afternoon today. The day was sunny giving us amazing views on the snowy mountains. It was very cold and the wind was picking up from the east during the tour. Unfortunately we could not find any cetacean. We looked for the whole tour, patrolled in several areas but didn't get lucky. There was not a lot of birds today and probably not a lot of fish. We gave a complimentary tickets to our passengers allowing them to come back for a new tour in the next two years, in Reykjavik or in Akureyri.
