CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We got to experience the full Icelandic adventure on today´s tour, with a cold wind, rocky sea and rain. As yesterday we didn't find the whales in the north west of the bay we decided to explore the south today, taking at the same time a bit of shelter thanks to the south peninsula of the bay. We searched for cetaceans, but the only wildlife we were able to see were seabirds. We mainly saw common guillemots, razorbills and great cormorants and it was fun to watch these pinguin-lookalikes flying close to our boat, but we of course were hoping to find some bigger animals on our tour as well. We therefore offered our passengers the opportunity to come on another whale-watching trip with us in the future with complimentary tickets.

This morning greeted us with a little bit of wind in the harbour but the conditions out there seem to be just fine to look for the wildlife! The Whale Watching tour at 13:00 from Reykjavík is ON SCHEDULE. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tour as it is always colder on sea than on land.
