Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 1PM Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

COVID-19: Keep in mind that passengers and crew are asked to ensure their own hygiene and safety at all times. Washing hands thoroughly with soap and using a hand sanitiser is advised. Masks are mandatory in areas where keeping 1 meter distance from others is not possible. 

Report from Eldey: An afternoon with quite calm sea, some swell and with a pleasant South Icelandic wind. Our trip today was blessed with a visit from a family (pod) of white-beaked dolphins.  There were about 4 in total. They surfaced about 5 times swimming slowly and really cryptically. Unfortunately for us we couldn't enjoy them much since they weren't curious today, so we decided to continue our tour and look for other animals. The afternoon continued without luck, since more cetaceans did not appear in the visited areas, so we decided to offer complementary tickets to our guests so that they can enjoy another tour from Reykjavík or Akureyri in the next two years.
