Tour at 10:00

Report from Elding: Like the report from Hafsúlan stated it was a very windy Monday morning. After visiting the puffins at Akurey we headed out to search for the whales. We searched in a very large area. At one point we heard from one other boat that they had an animal with them but when we arrived it was gone. We saw quite few gannets flying and diving down to get fish. It was a great disappointment for all of us and we hope that the weather will calm down soon!

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Not the best of tours this morning as the sea was a bit choppy and not many whales were around but the sun was out and there were many species of seabirds around such as; Puffins, Gannets, Manx Shearwaters, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Seagulls, Guillemots and Eider Ducks. One whale was seen once by the guide but unfortunately it was not sighted again making it hard to show the passengers. In the end complimentary tickets were given and hopefully they can return with better luck.
