This morning we sailed under dramatic skies with plenty of northern gannets, puffins and black-legged kittiwakes but sadly no cetaceans were spotted, so we issued complimentary tickets. In the afternoon we enjoyed calm seas and a fantastic encounter with a very friendly humpback whale showing off its big white pectoral fins and beautiful fluke dives.
Today we sailed among huge flocks of seabirds including black-legged kittiwakes and northern gannets, spotting two elusive minke whales surfacing briefly among the birds before handing out complimentary tickets. In the afternoon we enjoyed calm seas and a wonderful encounter with a fluking humpback whale showing off very close to our boat!
This morning we enjoyed a calm sea, sailing among puffins and gannets before encountering a friendly humpback whale surfacing close to us, followed by a brief sighting of a minke whale. In the afternoon we found several minke whales, a pod of 4-5 harbour porpoises, a playful pod of 4 white-beaked dolphins, and ended the day with a humpback whale.
In the morning we enjoyed the sunshine and calm seas as we encountered a fast-travelling humpback whale known as Mr. Bubbles, giving us wonderful fluke dives during a long crossing of the bay. In the afternoon we spotted another humpback whale near the islands, and as we were heading back to the harbour we encountered a feeding minke whale!
In the morning we enjoyed calm seas, sunshine, and were joined by lots of gannets and puffins! Then, we found a friendly minke whale surfacing beautifully. In the afternoon we encountered 3 minke whales, and eventually had a wonderful encounter with a friendly humpback whale known as Aang in our ID catalogues, showing its fluke before heading back to land.
In the morning we encountered feeding minke whales, playful white-beaked dolphins and had a close encounter with a friendly humpback whale we know as Mr. Bubbles! In the afternoon we spotted another minke whale, a large pod of 25+ white-beaked dolphins, and more beautiful views of Mr. Bubbles the humpback whale in very shallow waters near Reykjavík.
Today we found a humpback whale and a minke whale surfacing sporadically. One of them breached once before we found 4 pods of 6-9 white-beaked dolphins each! In the afternoon we quickly spotted a couple of minke whales and then we saw 10 white-beaked dolphins and a humpback whale. We then saw two more pods of 14 white-beaked dolphins!
We sailed out in a chilly breeze and gorgeous sunshine. After about an hour, we found a humpback whale - we even spotted a few blows in the distance! Eventually we encountered 2-4 harbour porpoises and a minke whale on our way home. In the afternoon we hit the jackpot! In all, we had about 4 humpback whales and about 6 different minke whales!
In the morning we had a bit of swell and wind, but soon found 2 harbour porpoises and then a humpback whale! On the way back we even saw a minke whale! In the afternoon we searched for some time before a minke whale appeared! Then, we encountered 4 harbour porpoises but since the sightings were quite short lived, we issued complimentary tickets.
This morning, the sun was shining warm in our faces, although the wind was quite cold! In total we saw 5 minke whales and 3 humpback whales on our journey! In the afternoon we spotted a tricky harbour porpoise and many atlantic puffins. We also found a minke whale, but since the encounter didn't last long, we decided to give out complimentary tickets.
This morning, it didn't take us too long to spot a blow in the distance - then one after another! Soon we had seen 5 humpback whales! In the afternoon we spotted 1 minke whale in a distance, but it was moving very fast. We then saw a blow in the distance - it turned out to be 3 humpback whales, very active and we managed to spent a good amount of time with them!

We sailed out with high hopes as the forecast was promising. Soon enough, the sky transformed from an orange sunset to a darker blue. We began to clearly see the northern lights shapeshift in the night sky! Such a magical way to finish the season!

We sailed out with partially cloudy skies and strong northern winds. After quite the wait we could see the northern lights appear ever so slightly, but barely visible to the naked eye, so we issued complimentary tickets to all our passengers.
