Preview textOn this grey & calm spring morning we set sail, with fulmars keeping us company on the way out. We soon had a brief sighting of a minke whale. It came up a few times but quickly left, so we continued searching. In the end, we didn‘t manage to see anything else so gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try their luck again. In the afternoon, the snow had picked up and we headed out full of hope. We briefly spotted 2-4 shy harbour porpoises but unfortunately nothing bigger, so again gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again another time!

Preview textWe started the day with some bad weather conditions, so we made the decision to cancel our morning departure, for the safety of our passengers. Fortunately, the weather improved in the afternoon and we were delighted to set out for our afternoon tour. There was still some swell, and had a mixture of all weathers. Soon, we found 3 Orcas! These three were travelling together moving quickly, a breathtaking experience!

Preview textThis morning we sailed out on a typical Icelandic day with a mix of all weather conditions. We soon spotted two types of seals - grey seal and harbour seal - but continued searching for larger animals! Unfortunately, we were unlucky so gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again another day. In the afternoon, the weather had turned for the worse, so we cancelled our tour for the safety of our passengers.

Preview textWe were delighted to get back out to sea after some bad weather days, and the sun was shining with perfect conditions for searching. On our way out, we spotted fast Harbour Porpoises but they disappeared quite quickly. Many birds were flocking around, but no signs of larger wildlife so we offered complimentary tickets to our passengers. The wind picked up in the afternoon so we made the decision to cancel the 13:00 tour, for the safety of our passengers.

Preview textWe sailed out on a sunny morning for our 09:00 tour, and soon spotted a minke whale surfacing occasionally. Suddenly a humpback whale also appeared - a brilliant morning at sea. In the afternoon, the sea was flat and we spotted a minke whale again, and soon after, a big pod of around 100 white-beaked dolphins! Already happy with this, we also saw a humpback whale before heading back to the harbour after a great day of tours.

Preview textWe left the harbour with a bit of snow, and soon spotted a small pod of white-beaked dolphins. After some more sailing, we spotted a few harbour porpoises and then a humpback whale! In the afternoon, we headed out again and soon spotted a big pod of 40 white-beaked dolphins and a humpback whale nearby. An excellent start to the tour, but then we spotted 10 Orcas, a relatively rare sight in the bay. An excellent day at sea!

Preview textWe headed out on our morning tour with some wind, but dressed up warm in our overalls to see what we could find. We sailed around the islands with many birds around, and found a grey seal swimming nearby. We covered many areas but unfortunately didn't find any cetaceans so gave our passengers complimentary tickets. In the afternoon, the wind picked up further so we made the decision to cancel the 13:00 tour for the safety and comfort of our passengers.

Preview textWe sailed out on a very sunny day, and in about 30 minutes, we spotted a rare visitor to our bay - 2 fin whales - the second largest animal in the world! Another blow nearby turned out to be a humpback whale and also close by was a big pod of white-beaked dolphins! On our afternoon tour, we sailed out again and spotted a humpback whale again, and the same 2 fin whales nearby! We spent some time before carrying on, and found 2 humpback whales and over 200 white-beaked dolphins in a feeding frenzy! An absolutely INCREDIBLE day!

Preview textIt was a chilly morning as we set off for our 09:00 tour, and before long, spotted a blow - a humpback whale! We also spotted multiple pods of white-beaked dolphins nearby, around 25 individuals in total! On our afternoon tour, we sailed out again with a little less wind and found a humpback whale again. After a bit more searching, we also found around 30 white-beaked dolphins! A fantastic day at sea.

Preview textWe headed out with some wind and swell, and ventured into Hvalfjörður to see what we could find. We soon spotted 10 white-beaked dolphins speeding around and chasing fish, a great sighting! On the way home, we also spotted 5 harbour porpoises closer to Reykjavik. The wind had picked up even more in the afternoon, so we decided to cancel our 13:00 tour for the safety and comfort of our passengers.
