As soon as we left the harbour the northern lights became visible on cameras. As the night carried on this got stronger and very soon we had two clear green arches. Even as the clouds came in we could still see the lights through the gaps.
We did find very faded northern lights just above Mt Esja, but they were mainly visible through our cameras. They looked like a little arch that gradually faded through the night. We went back to the harbour and handed out complimentary tickets.
By the end of the tour, we could see some northern lights above Mt Esja. Very weak and very little, since we had many clouds in the area, so we decided to give out complimentary tickets so the passengers have another chance.
This evening we sailed out with high hopes as the sky looked promising. As soon as we left the harbour we already saw some green! The northern lights can be fickle, but there was a point that they got stronger and the whole boat was green!
Before the tour, we could see many stars at the sky and we were happy that it wasn't as cloudy as we thought it would be. But we got even happier when we started the tour and we already had northern lights in the sky! What an amazing night!
We went near Esja and patiently waited while listening to rock classics from the 60s, but unfortunately no lights appeared. We went back to the harbour and gave our passengers complimentary tickets. Hopefully next time we will be luckier!
This evening we were hopeful due to the promising forecast! We could see stars and a green hue through the cameras. Our patience was really tested but also rewarded, as we could see beautiful northern lights through gaps in the clouds!
We sailed out tonight, seeing stars, which is always a good sign! We waited for a while but sadly there was no lights seen. We sailed past the Imagine Peace Tower and saw fireworks above the city. In the end we handed out complimentary tickets.
We sailed out with a good forecast and we could see green lights through our cameras which was exciting. At times the light did also become visible to the naked eye, however this was quite faint, so we gave out complimentary tickets.
We sailed out with three boats and the forecast looked fairly decent and the moon was high in the sky lighting up the landscape. After this beautiful night we sadly didn't see any Northern Lights, so we offered complimentary tickets to all passengers.
We went out in this cold Christmas evening hoping to find northern lights. We went behind the islands to find shelter from the lights and wind. The auroras were unfortunately not visible tonight so we offered complimentary tickets to all on board.
The forecast looked good and the sky had many visible stars. At the halfway mark very faint northern lights appeared through our cameras, but unfortunately they did not get brighter, so we gave complimentary tickets to our passengers.
After a while, taking random pictures of the sky, we captured some green lights above Esja mountain! However, we could only see them through the cameras. Since the tour was coming to an end, we decided to give out complimentary tickets.
