    Today we encountered white-beaked dolphins, minke whales, humpback whales, and even a curious harbour seal around the islands near Reykjavík. The morning brought playful dolphins and gentle humpbacks surfacing close to the boat, while the afternoon featured calm seas and whales feeding and resting right by the coastline - a truly wonderful day!

    Today we encountered several humpback whales and minke whales under changing weather and sea conditions. The morning brought calm, close encounters with fluke dives and even a sudden breach beside the boat, while the afternoon offered smooth sailing near Reykjavík with both species feeding actively just outside the harbour.

    Today we enjoyed sightings of minke whales, harbour porpoises and several humpback whales, including a relaxed pair resting side by side. Calm conditions and patient searching rewarded us with close encounters and even a lunge-feeding minke whale close to the harbour. A wonderful day at sea with diverse sightings and memorable moments.

    The wildlife was a bit elusive this morning so we issued complimentary tickets to our passengers. In the afternoon we encountered harbour porpoises, minke whales and several humpback whales, including the well-known Davy Jones II. The afternoon brought close encounters as the whales fed together, a perfect day at sea in Faxaflói bay!

    With strong winds and noticeable swell, we searched the waters around the islands and into the scenic Hvalfjörður. Although the views were beautiful, no whales were sighted today, and all our guests were issued complimentary tickets to return for another chance to meet the wildlife of Faxaflói. The last tour of the day was cancelled due to weather.

    We sailed out from the harbour and decided to stay close to the coast due to the wind. We saw many birds, rainbows, and even the first snow of the season on the mountains nearby. We didn't managed to see any whales or dolphins today, so complimentary tickets were issued to all guests. The rest of today's tours were cancelled due to worsening weather.

    We enjoyed calm but chilly seas today with sightings of minke whales, white-beaked dolphins and a curious humpback whale that swam right up to our boat. The dolphins were playful, leaping alongside us, while the humpback performed a few pec slaps before diving beneath the waves. A crisp and lively day at sea, full of wonderful encounters!

    This morning we encountered a friendly minke whale close to Viðey island, which stayed with us for some time before disappearing into the waves. Later, another minke whale made a brief appearance further out in the bay but was too shy to stay for long. To give everyone a better chance to enjoy longer sightings, we issued complimentary tickets to all.

    We enjoyed calm seas and clear skies today, with close encounters of a curious minke whale surfacing repeatedly near the boat this morning. In the afternoon, a playful humpback whale stole the show with dramatic pectoral slaps and elegant fluke dives under the sun. A bright and beautiful day at sea filled with energy, calm seas, and happy passengers.

    This morning began with a glowing sunrise and sightings of a humpback whale showing its fluke, followed by a curious minke whale on our way home. In the afternoon, we saw a small pod of shy harbour porpoises and ended the tour with another friendly minke whale close to the harbour. A varied day with rewarding encounters despite some searching in between.

    This morning we spotted harbour porpoises, a lunge feeding minke whale, and a pair of humpback whales including Birdie. In the afternoon the same humpback whale pair delighted us in synchronicity, suddenly appearing right in front of us, almost within touching distance! We were then delighted with spectacular pectoral slaps and close views!

    We encountered 2 minke whales close to Viðey island this morning, but sightings were short lived, so complimentary tickets were issued. In the afternoon we were luckier with two feeding minke whales, including close encounters near the harbour, with Reykjavík as a backdrop. The last tour of the day ended up being cancelled due to worsening weather.

    The first tour of the day was cancelled due to weather, but we headed out in the afternoon and saw minke whales by the islands as well as 2 feeding humpback whales, surfacing close and blowing bubbles. In the evening, we were rewarded with more humpback whale encounters (one of which was Bubbles), and some energetic white-beaked dolphins!

    Today the air was chilly but the sea was calm and the sun bright - perfect conditions for whale watching in Reykjavík. In total we saw about 5 minke whales and 6-7 slow swimming white beaked dolphins. We also managed to see a humpback whale at one point but it was not in a social mood. The last tour of the day was cancelled due to unfavourable weather.

    We went out at 13:00 during a break in between rough weather. We quickly found a minke whale and got the opportunity for some pictures. We went on and saw blows of 2 humpback whales in the distance and were able to spend some time with them as the showed us some fluke dives. All other tours today were cancelled due to unfavourable weather at sea.

    This morning we experienced a full Faxaflói BINGO with sightings of all four main species; humpback whales, minke whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises. The afternoon continued with more incredible sightings, filling the bay with life once more before the last tour of the day was unfortunately cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions.
