This evening we had good luck on our side. As we went out, the cloud cover had some great gaps in it so we were able to see the stars. Soon enough, a ribbon of northern lights spread out across the sky, changing from green to purple and even blue!

We weren't even properly out of the harbor, when we already saw the northern lights on our left side across the sky. It was two big green arches that molded into one big one and this one stayed with us for almost the whole tour! Great night at sea!

We sailed out under some cloud cover but good solar activity. The forecasted gaps in the clouds made us excited to see how the evening would unfold, however the northern lights remained elusive, so we issued complimentary tickets to all passengers.

As soon as we left the harbour this evening, we could already see an arch of northern lights stretching over the whole sky. We headed into the wind towards mt. Esja and soon the sky was filled with bright auroras, clearly visible to the naked eye!

Within 20 minutesr, we started seeing faint northern lights at the top of mt. Esja. We waited patiently for them to get brighter, but they started to disappear and unfortunately never got stronger, so we issued complimentary tickets to our guests.

The sky was clear and stars clearly visible. We waited and kept our eyes open for the northern lights, but they never appeared, so we offered complimentary tickets to our patient guests so everyone has another chance to try again another night.

As soon as we left the harbour, we had seen our first northern lights! They were faint at first but soon enough, a huge arch was stretching from mt. Esja and out towards the open sea. It was incredible to watch them as they grew stronger!

We sailed out into a windy bay this evening, with quite some cloud cover overhead. About 30 minutes into the tour we could see that the northern lights started to shine through an opening in the clouds above us - dancing in the night sky!

There was a sun storm tonight, so we sailed out hopeful for an incredible show. We could clearly see the auroras behind the clouds with our cameras, but not with the naked eye, so we of course handed out complimentary tickets to all our guests.

We started the night off by admiring at the Imagine Peace Tower on the 45th anniversary of John Lennon's death. We then headed to darker areas, but sadly the northern lights never appeared, so we issued complimentary tickets to our passengers.

Tonight the expected Kp level was a 4/9, so our expectations were high! There were some gaps in the clouds so we were optimistic. Unfortunately, the auroras never appeared, so we of course handed complimentary tickets out to our patient guests.

It was windy, but the sea was relatively nice. The moon was shining and we could see stars in the clear sky. While we saw a very faint arch of northern lights above mt. Esja, we decided to issue complimentary tickets to our understanding passengers.

With a Kp index of 3/9 and mostly clear skies, we set sail with high hopes! From the moment we left port, we could see northern lights. They were there all night and finally exploded and we could very clearly see them with our naked eye!

Despite some clouds, it was a beautiful evening out in the bay with stunning sights of Reykjavík and a full moon. Unfortunately the auroras never showed up, so we offered all our guests complimentary tickets so they can retry another time.

The sea was flat and the stars were shining almost as bright as the moon. We sailed by Viðey island to see the Imagine Peace Tower and then further towards mount Esja. The northern lights first tested our patience, but then appeared all around us!
