Due to weather, we were only able to sail at 13:00 today. It was very cold in the bay and we could even see the snow on top of the mountains surrounding the bay. It took us a while before we spotted some fins in the distance which turned out to be a pod of white beaked dolphins!
We had a pod of about 10 white-beaked dolphins in the morning, which we also saw in the afternoon, along with a single minke whale which saw for a few surface sequence before returning back to shore!
After a bit of sailing we spotted about 7 white beaked dolphins in the morning, we then noticed a bigger blow a little further out but it wasn't seen again, so we offered complimentary tickets to all passengers. Despite a great encounter with white-beaked dolphins in the morning, we decided to offer all our passengers complimentary tickets. In the afternoon we came across a minke whale close to the shoreline, then a lone harbour porpoise and around 20 active white beaked dolphins!
