Preview textThe morning was chilly, but after about 40 minutes, we spotted a humpback whale! As we waited for it to resurface, we also saw a minke whale nearby. The afternoon started off chilly with some snow falling, and after a while we found a humpback whale and a pod of 4-5 harbour porpoises that popped up briefly, swimming alongside us.

Preview textIn the morning, we enjoyed a stunning sunrise as we spotted a calm and graceful humpback whale just off Viðey island. In the afternoon, under bright sunshine, we encountered a shy juvenile humpback whale teasing us with brief surfaces. But just as we were heading back, it stole the show with an incredible breach right in front of the boat.

Preview textToday's tours featured incredible encounters with a humpback whale near Viðey island! In the morning, we watched this whale breach and perform fluke dives, surrounded by over 100 seabirds and 3 surfacing harbour porpoises. The afternoon brought a curious harbour seal and the same humpback as before, this time resting and feeding.

Preview textAfter a full week of cancelled tours, we were finally able to sail out into the bay! In the morning, we spotted a humpback whale, then a surprise minke whale surfaced nearby, followed by a curious harbour seal. In the afternoon, both the minke whale and the humpback reappeared, providing fantastic sightings close to the harbour.

Preview textAfter a cancelled morning tour, we sailed into the bay and spotted a small pod of 2-4 playful white-beaked dolphins swimming close and feeding around us. As we continued, fog enveloped us, leading us to an amazing sighting of 3 humpback whales including Neila, Pep, and a mystery companion all calm and coming very close to our boat.

Preview textIn the morning, we encountered 6 humpback whales, including familiar individuals, with one tail slapping and peduncle throwing. The afternoon started with a helicopter rescue drill, and soon we spotted 3-4 harbour porpoises and then again we found 6 humpback whales, one even performing a peduncle throw close to our boat!

Preview textIn the morning, we navigated large waves before spotting a playful pod of 6-7 white-beaked dolphins, 3 quick minke whales and two familiar humpback whales, Davy Jones II and Neila, feeding together! In the afternoon, we again found humpback whales Davy Jones II and Neila, calmly surfacing and even passing gracefully under our boat at times!

Preview textThis morning, we saw a minke whale, some harbour porpoises, a pod of white-beaked dolphins with a small calf, and four humpback whales! This afternoon’s tour also saw a pod of 5-6 harbour porpoises, a friendly minke whale with a nearby pod of 5 white-beaked dolphins, and 4 curious humpback whales. A true "Royal Flush" of marine life!

Preview textThe morning tour was cancelled due to weather, but we were able to sail in the afternoon and encountered 3-7 harbour porpoises, followed by a bottling grey seal! Later we found a pod of 4 white-beaked dolphins that vanished, but reappeared with Flak the humpback whale, and individual we usually see close to Reykjavik in winter!

Preview textWe set off this morning excited to find wildlife. At one point we were surrounded by what felt like 100s of black legged kittiwakes and sooty shearwaters. We found two solo white-beaked dolphins and a minke whale! Sailing out again this afternoon, we found 6 minke whales and a small pod of 8 harbour porpoises around the islands near Reykjavik.

Preview textThis morning we encountered a humpback whale, as well as a minke whale only 10 minutes from the harbour. We spent most of the tour with the friendly humpback that then decided to breach right in front of us! In the afternoon we quickly, we found our friendly humpback whale, and several pods of harbour porpoises, with around 15 individuals.
