We also encountered multiple minke whales and playful white-beaked dolphins leaping, bowriding, and joining the feeding frenzy. One magical sighting after another made for an epic day on the bay!

We also spotted several sneaky minke whales and energetic white-beaked dolphins leaping around whales. An unforgettable day at sea filled with close encounters!

The bay stayed busy all day with more humpbacks breaching, bubble-net feeding, and surrounding our boats. We also saw acrobatic white-beaked dolphins, quick minke whales, and shy harbour porpoises on this action-packed day!

Playful white-beaked dolphins appeared on nearly every tour, often in large pods, and some even jumped beside the boat. We also spotted several minke whales and elusive harbour porpoises!

Preview textToday featured at least 12 active humpback whales across the bay, with fluke dives, pec slaps, spyhops and even lunge feeding! Several pods of playful white-beaked dolphins swam around the boats, some even escorting us home. Add to that a handful of minke whales and harbour porpoises and we had a truly unforgettable summer day at sea!

Several pods of white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises added variety, while calm seas and sunshine made for ideal conditions. Puffins were also plentiful, adding charm to this fantastic day at sea!

Preview textThroughout the day we had 5 encounters with humpback whales, including one breaching, one lunge-feeding, and another resting calmly near Reykjavík. Several pods of up to 14 white-beaked dolphins and around 6-8 harbour porpoises added to the excitement, alongside rare minke whale sightings, including a spy-hopping individual! What a wonderful day!

The afternoon brought sunny views and a calm humpback whale with close surfaces and beautiful white pectoral fins. In the evening, another humpback whale and a pod of white-beaked dolphins capped off a long but rewarding trip!

The afternoon featured two playful pods of white-beaked dolphins and a brief minke whale sighting. In the evening, two lively humpback whales (including mr. Bubbles) and a pod of dolphins made for a spectacular end to the day!

The afternoon tour featured a very social humpback whale showing off with tail and pec slaps before breaching three times. The evening ended with 2 humpback whales, including one curious close approach and surprise tail slaps! What a fantastic day on the water!

Preview textThis morning began with fresh air as we saw all four summer species - harbour porpoises, minke whales, playful dolphins and a chill humpback whale! In the afternoon we were treated to surfacing minke whales and fluking humpback whale. The evening brought even more minke whales and a fluking humpback whale under calm seas and puffin filled skies.

Preview textThis morning we met a calm humpback whale and saw its glowing pectoral fins in crystal-clear seas. In the afternoon, a lone male orca stole the show, close to Reykjavík's Old Harbour, before we later encountered two relaxed minke whales. The evening brought three playful humpback whales, also close to the city, ending with a dramatic peduncle throw!

Preview textThis morning we saw many flocks of birds, and amongst them were 2 minke whales. Then, we found a pod of 6 white-beaked dolphins, a logging humpback whale and an additional 2 minke whales on our way home. In the afternoon we had brisk winds but were rewarded with a feeding humpback whale. The evening tour was sadly cancelled due to weather.

Preview textA chilly but sunny morning brought 2 very relaxed humpback whales (one was sleeping). In the afternoon, a feeding humpback whale showed off its glowing pectoral fins under the surface. The evening ended with a humpback whale showing us multiple fluke dives, as well as a pod of leaping white-beaked dolphins and lots of seabirds flying under blue skies.
