Throughout the day, there were up to 12 minke whales skimming all around us, giving us fantastic lengthy views - we even got to see inside their mouths as they were lunge feeding! Additionally, we got to see large groups of white-beaked dolphins an some harbour porpoises!

We sailed out this morning, hoping to continue our sighting streak. We saw numerous black-backed gulls and arctic terns, but no cetaceans until a shy minke whale briefly appeared as we headed back to the harbour. Due to the short lived sighting, we issued complimentary tickets subsequently. All other tours were cancelled today due to weather.

After multiple days of bad weather and cancelled tours, we left the harbour and navigated into the beautiful bay. We saw many birds and several people on the boat seemed convinced of having seen a whale fluke, but it was not possible to confirm the sighting, and therefore we offered everyone complimentary tickets, so they can join us another time.
