    This morning we enjoyed glassy seas and sunshine, with sightings of 3 minke whales and a peaceful pod of white-beaked dolphins gliding near the boat. In the afternoon, we had 2 more minke whales, 2 harbour porpoises, and several white-beaked dolphin pods, including one of 10 individuals jumping close to the boat in calm waters.

    This morning we sailed through thick fog that cleared to sunshine, revealing 5-6 harbour porpoises, a fluking humpback whale, and a pod of 4–5 curious white-beaked dolphins, including a calf. In the afternoon we enjoyed sunny skies, encountering 2 humpback whales, even more harbour porpoises, and a brief visit from 4 white-beaked dolphins.

    This morning we enjoyed sunny skies and calm seas, spotting 2 relaxed minke whales, 3 harbour porpoises, and a pod of 3 white-beaked dolphins, ending with a feeding minke whale. In the afternoon we encountered a calm humpback whale in Hvalfjörður along with two pods of harbour porpoises gliding through the flat fjord. What a great day at sea!

    This morning we enjoyed calm, sunny seas and watched a pod of 8 white-beaked dolphins, including a calf, feeding and jumping near the boat, followed by a fluking humpback whale. In the afternoon, we encountered 2 minke whales - one more cooperative than the other - and ended with a fluke dive from the same humpback whale seen earlier. A dream!

    This morning we sailed in calm, sunny weather and encountered over 5 white-beaked dolphins, a friendly humpback whale, and 4 minke whales, with more dolphins and one last minke whale spotted on our way back. In the afternoon, we saw 3 minke whales and three pods of white-beaked dolphins, ending with fluke dives from a humpback whale.

    This morning we encountered a spectacular humpback whale breaching multiple times, pec-slapping loudly, and ending with a fluke dive, followed by a brief sighting of 4–5 white-beaked dolphins. In the afternoon, we found the same humpback whale again and watched several fluke dives alongside pods of white-beaked dolphins calmly passing by the boat.

    This morning we encountered a lively pod of 15–20 white-beaked dolphins, followed by a stunning pair of humpback whales fluking side by side, with 2 minke whales nearby in feeding grounds. In the afternoon, under bright sunshine, we saw 2 quick minke whales and spent quality time with 2 calm humpback whales fluke-diving close to our boat.

    This morning we sailed under sunny skies and encountered 2 humpback whales, with one surfacing close to the boat, alongside a calm pod of 6 white-beaked dolphins. In the afternoon we saw a total of 2 minke whales, 2 humpback whales, and a playful group of 4-5 white-beaked dolphins diving under the boat at one point - a truly amazing day at sea.

    This morning we sailed into a misty fjord and briefly spotted 3 harbour porpoises before turning back and issuing complimentary tickets to our patient passengers. In the afternoon, the sun broke through and we were thrilled to encounter 3 feeding humpback whales near fishing boats, surrounded by birds - a perfect way to celebrate Elding’s 25th Year at Sea!

    This morning we sailed into beautiful weather and encountered 3 humpback whales showing fluke dives across Hvalfjörður, ending the tour with a spectacular pod of around 50 white-beaked dolphins surrounding the boat. In the afternoon we spotted 4 humpback whales, including one breaching and head-slapping near the end, Great day at sea!

    This afternoon, we sailed out with a light Icelandic breeze and sunshine. Right after leaving the harbour, we spotted a minke whale passing us by. We sailed to Hvafjörður and found an active pod of about 8 speedy harbour porpoises, as well as 2 humpback whales (one of which was Mr. Bubbles)! All other tours were cancelled due to unfavourable conditions.

    This morning the wind had picked up and we battled through all the elements during the tour. We sailed into Hvalfjörður and saw 2 humpback whales - one even did 2 peduncle throws! We also found a couple of harbour porpoises travelling between the big waves as we headed back. The afternoon tours were cancelled due to unfavourable conditions.

    This morning we again sailed into Hvalfjörður where we found a calm humpback whale taking short dives and then tail-slapping over 20 times before fluking in the rain! In the afternoon, under thick fog, we encountered 2 harbour porpoises and watched a very active humpback whale fluke and dive near the boat, with another one spotted deeper in the fjord.

    This morning we sailed into Hvalfjörður and encountered a small pod of harbour porpoises swimming close by, followed by a peaceful humpback whale resting near us. In the afternoon, we returned to the fjord and again saw harbour porpoises, and a very curious humpback whale that swam just an arm’s length from our boat before a lovely fluke dive.

    This morning we searched both the bay as well as "whale fjord", only spotting an elusive minke whale and a trio of shy harbour porpoises before running out of time and issuing complimentary tickets. In the afternoon, under clearing skies, we were treated to great views of three minke whales, one surfacing close to us, and a pod of 9 playful white-beaked dolphins.

    This morning we sailed into Hvalfjörður under overcast skies and encountered a loose group of around 10 harbour porpoises before enjoying nice fluke dives from two humpback whales. In the afternoon we spotted another pod of harbour porpoises and two more humpback whales, one of which surprised us with a spectacular tail lob near the boat.

    This morning we enjoyed calm conditions and were treated to a close humpback whale sighting near Hvalfjörður, a small pod of harbour porpoises and a surprise minke whale on the way home. In the afternoon, we returned to the fjord and encountered 5 harbour porpoises and 2 humpback whales, one fluking beautifully as we sailed back to Reykjavík.
